Derek France is a mayor. When he became the mayor, it was all about helping the people of his city. He wanted to help them live better lives and provide them the resources they needed to do that. What Derek didn’t realize is that the greatest resource the people of his city needed was hope. It was something that he was lacking too.
Then, he was invited to Valley Creek. Derek found hope in Jesus for the first time in his life. It flipped his perspective and his purpose upside down. Now, Derek carries the hope he’s found to every meeting, town hall, and event he’s at because it overflows from his life.
